2 weeks agoThe food was the best around. The service was the best around. And the atmosphere was the best around. It really feels like you've been invited to eat as a guest at someone's family table. Very cozy and personal atmosphere, with real home cooking.

a month agoFresh, Hot, made to order greatttt Honduras food.. Customer Service is amazing they are sooo nice here.. happy cool in-house like greattt indoor and outdoor sit and eat music tvs.. always always clean smell good bathroom.. 👍 loveee

a month agoMy family and I had an absolutely delicious meal at Casa Maya yesterday! I am so glad that we ate there. The food was authentic from Honduras. The restaurant is located in a cute house that has separate dining rooms. It was a nice atmosphere. We felt very at home. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They even had pictures of each item and described them each to us. The food was so flavorful! There were five of us and we each ordered something different. Every one of us loved our meals! We plan on returning for sure. The food was also very fresh! We were checked on several times by the servers. You could tell that they loved explaining about the food and sharing the tastes of Honduras! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. 4 months agoMy second time coming here and it won’t be my last. First time I went, I had their breakfast. I’m Salvadoran so Honduran breakfast feels right at home. They made me have flashbacks of my mom making the same food during my childhood, seriously the food is absolutely amazing. I didn’t take pictures the first time because I DEVOURED it. Decided to try their Birria tacos and by far top 2 birrias I’ve ever tried. Everything was made with love and authenticity. Will be back soon!

5 months agoLow key gem. Had steak and eggs with avocado. Yummy meat, good quality meat, very attentive service. Our new favorite breakfast place.

8 months agoThe food here, actually honors the restauran's name and appearance! The way they season the food here, really surprised me, they give it that original taste you have forgotten and when tasting it again, it sends you years back to your childhood memories! That if you're from Honduras. For the ones that are not, be prepare to taste original Honduran flavors. Real foreign joy. The little home is quiet and snugly. Perfect for those who enjoy there meal time in a calm and quiet place lime me. The service is always polite and attentive, the hostes are very friendly and we even chat a little. The whole visit literally feels like we're visiting a friend's house.

9 months agoI ordered the Típico Casa Maya and it was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The carne asada was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. You can really tell the food is made with care and true Honduran taste. Portions were generous, and the whole plate was satisfying from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Hondureña food in Gastonia—I’ll definitely be coming back!
